Burglary
A Portland woman reported a burglary Thursday evening.
Samantha Caster, 433 E. Votaw St., told police someone climbed through her bathroom window sometime between 3 and 5:30 a.m. Thursday and ransacked the room.
Caster found the screen from the window removed. She told police she thought whoever broke into the home was looking for medications.
The burglary was reported at 10:51 p.m.
Parking lot mishap
A Portland woman was involved in an accident Thursday morning in the Main Street Market parking lot, located at 218 W. Lincoln Avenue, Portland.
Christina Harris, 50, 939 W. High St., Portland, told police she was turning into a parking spot in the lot when the 1994 GMC 2500 she was driving struck a parked 2001 Oldsmobile Silhouette, registered to Robert Franks Jr., 589 W. 500 North, rural Bryant.
The GMC 2500 is registered to Michael Nixon, 3062 W. 550 South, rural Portland.
Damage in the 11:48 a.m. accident was estimated to be between $1,000 and $2,500.

Adams County Memorial Hospital was awarded the following judgments in Adams Superior Court: Kevin D. Enterline, Pennville, $2,922.07; Jessica M. Flauding, Geneva, $6,970; Michelle K. Hall, Geneva, $1,202.02; Sheila A. Twigg, Portland, $709.48; Anita R. Evans, Portland, $38,142.69; Justin Shaneyfelt, Dunkirk, and Crystal Shaneyfelt, Bryant, $3,357.38.
In the same court, SAC Financial was awarded $7,781.20 from Eddie R. and Tina M. Rabon, Geneva.
