Couple celebrates 50 years
Joe and Sandy Doyle, 11813 W. 800 South, Redkey, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
Joe married Sandy Cowan on Nov. 21, 1964, at Desoto United Methodist Church.
Sandy is active in the Optimist Club and Joe retired from General Motors.
They are the parents of Jean Fultz (husband: Chris), Columbus, Ohio, Larry Doyle (wife: Anna), Dallas, Cindy Hines (husband: Ron), Muncie, Judy McDonald (husband: Doug), Detroit, Teresa Paguette (husband: Paul) and Jackie Davis (husband: Chad), both of Dunkirk, and David Doyle (wife: Kelli), Anderson. They also have 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
They are planning to celebrate Sunday with family and friends.
