Breaking: Jay wins first ACAC meet
The Patriots didn’t lose a race.
They nearly swept each swimming event too.
Jay County’s girls swim team earned the top three spots in five of the 11 swimming events in defeating Adams Central 221-76.
Katy Smeltzer, Alex Bader, Sophie Bader and Anne Vormohr all picked up victories in two events, helping the Patriots to their first dual-meet win in the Allen County Athletic Conference.
Marissa Tupai won diving for Adams Central’s only victory.
