Eagles sweep Indians
DUNKIRK — West Jay Middle School’s seventh and eighth grade boys basketball teams both beat visiting Union City West Side Tuesday.
The eighth graders squeaked out a 31-30 victory, and the seventh graders won 40-28.
Gabe Faulkner had 17 points for the eighth graders (3-0), and Wyatt Geesaman notched a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
For the WJMS seventh graders (1-2), Trevon Vore had 17 points and 15 rebounds, Brinnin Wasson tallied 9 points, and Dylan Bowler and Storm McLaughlin each had six.
