BERNE — South Adams Schools will be sticking with its traditional calendar.
On Superintendent Scott Litwiller’s recommendation, South Adams School Board on Tuesday approved a 2015-16 school calendar that mirrors the schedules used in past years. The calendar includes the first day of school on Tuesday, Aug. 11, a three-day fall break, two-week winter break, a one-week spring break and the final day of classes on Thursday, May 19.
A week-long fall break had been discussed, but a survey of parents and teachers favored continuing the three-day option.
