Felony arrests
Maintaining a common nuisance
Three Portland residents were arrested Wednesday and preliminarily charged with maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony, and possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor.
Albert Hicks, 30, David Hicks, 32, and Felicia Hicks, 33, face the charges after police allegedly found marijuana Sept. 15 in the apartment they share at 214 E. Race St., Portland.
Booking information shows 121 E. Race St., Apt. 1, as Albert Hicks’ permanent address, but investigators say he was living at 214 E. Race St.
During a probation check Sept. 15, investigators allegedly found marijuana in the rooms of each of the suspects.
The trio was arrested Wednesday on bench warrants from Jay Superior Court and booked into Jay County Jail.
They all remain there on $6,000 bonds.
