Elderly, Fort menus
The following is the LifeStream Services menu for Oct. 14 and Oct. 16. Meals are served at Jay Community Center, 115 E. Water St. in Portland. Anyone 60 and older can eat on a donation basis. Reservations may be made by calling (800) 589-1121 and asking for the nutrition department. All meals are served with coffee, tea or milk.
Tuesday — Turkey tetrazzini, Italian squash, green peas, garlic peas, applesauce.
Thursday — Breaded fish with tarter sauce on bun, fiesta potatoes, marinated vegetable salad, peach cobbler.
The following is the menu for the week of Oct. 13 at Fort Recovery Middle School.
Monday — Hot dog, baked beans, applesauce, baked potato chips.
Tuesday — Sloppy Jo sandwich, sweet potato fries, pineapple.
Wednesday — Cheese pizza, green beans, pears.
Thursday — Spaghetti with meat sauce, cheesy breadstick, Caesar salad, watermelon rasiels.
Friday —Beef ravioli, cheese stick, corn, fruit cocktail.
The following is the menu for the week of Oct. 13 at Fort Recovery High School.
Monday — Chicken nuggets, red beans and rice, mandarin oranges, gold fish crackers. Ala carte: soft pretzel.
Tuesday — Sausage bagel, tater tots, orange juice, yogurt. Ala carte: mini corn dogs.
Wednesday — Beef gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, peaches. Ala carte: hot dog.
Thursday — Submarine sandwich with tomato, lettuce, onion and cheese, dill pickle spear, pineapple. Ala carte: burrito.
Friday — Loaded baked potato, salad, apple slices, ice cream. Ala carte: chicken wings.
