Breaking: Patriots draw Giants
INDIANAPOLIS — For the second straight season, the Patriots will open sectional play against the Giants.
In the IHSAA football sectional draw held tonight, the Jay County High School football team will play on the road Oct. 24 against the Marion Giants in the opening round of the Class 4A Sectional 20 tournament.
Jay County defeated Marion 50-16 in the opening round of the tournament a year ago, before falling to Norwell in the semifinal.
The winner between the Patriots (2-6) and Giants (1-7) will face the winner of Norwell (3-5) and Frankfort (2-6).
