Couple celebrates 60th
John and Marlene Skeoch of Dunkirk, aka Buttnz and Bowz, are celebrating 60 years of marriage today.
They were married on Sept. 11, 1954, in St. Thomas Lutheran Church in Brookville with the Rev. Paul Erney officiating.
John is a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired after 38 years as a communication specialist with the Indiana State Police.
They are the parents of four children, Karen Sulfridge (husband: Dennis), Charles Skeoch (wife: Melissa), New Braunfels, Texas, Brian Skeoch, Glenrock, Wy., and Gary Skeoch, San Antonio. They also have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
