Possession
A Portland man was arrested Saturday morning on bench warrants for possession of cocaine and driving while suspended.
Nicholas Maxwell, 722, S. Vine St., is preliminarily charged with possession of cocaine, a Level 6 felony, and driving while suspended, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was arrested and booked at 12:54 a.m. into Jay County Jail, where he remains under a $6,000 bond.

Battery
A Dunkirk man was arrested Friday evening for battery, sexual battery and criminal confinement.
Jody Reynolds, 320 S. Madison St., is preliminarily charged with battery, a Level 6 felony, sexual battery, a Level 6 felony, and criminal confinement, a Level 5 felony.
He was arrested and booked at 10:46 p.m. into Jay County Jail, where he remains under a $15,000 bond.

Possession
A Portland man was arrested Saturday evening for possession of narcotics
Harley Golder, 212 E. Main St. Apartment B, is preliminarily charged with possession of narcotics, a Level 6 felony, possession of a syringe, a Class A misdemeanor, resisting an officer, a Class A misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was arrested and booked into Jay County Jail at 7:13 p.m., where he remains under a $4,500 bond.

Aggravated battery
A Redkey man was arrested Saturday evening for aggravated battery and criminal recklessness.
Ian Miller, 1053 W. High St., is preliminarily charged with aggravated battery, a Level 5 felony, and criminal recklessness, a Level 6 felony.
He was arrested and booked at 7:27 a.m. into Jay County Jail, and was released that same day under a $13,000 bond.

Possession
A Portland man was arrested on a warrant Saturday.
Joseph Wallischeck, 432 E. High St., is preliminarily charged with possession of heroin, a Third Degree felony. The warrant was from Montgomery County, Ohio.
He is being held at Jay County Jail awaiting extradition.
