Arts Place, 131 E. Walnut St. in Portland, will host a Glass and Palette class from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The cost is $25 and includes all painting materials and a glass of wine. Additional glasses of wine will be available to purchase.

Spring concert
Students from Arts Place MusicWorks program will have a spring emsemble concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 1.
The community band, flute choir, saxophone, trumpet and percussion ensembles will perform.
Individual students will perform May 2, at 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Grand reopening
The Fort Recovery State Museum will have a grand reopening for 2015 on Sunday, May 3, featuring an exhibit to honor the late Hal Sherman who died in 2014.
Twenty paintings from Sherman will be on exhibit from noon until 3 p.m. Sherman was a historian whose paintings feature people and events from the frontier days.
Members of the Sherman family will be introduced at a 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
