Felony arrests
Dealing
A Portland woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon for dealing a schedule three substance.
Latia Henkel-Flowers, 685 S. Western Ave., was arrested on a Jay Circuit Court bench warrant, and is preliminarily charged with two counts of dealing in a schedule three substance, both Class A felonies.
She was arrested and booked at 2:22 p.m. into Jay County Jail, where she remains under a $75,000 bond.
Possession
A Bryant woman was arrested Tuesday evening for possession.
Amber Nava, 6996 N. Indiana 1, is preliminarily charged with possession of heroin, a Level 6 felony, neglect of a dependent, a Level 6 felony, possession of paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, and receiving stolen property, a Class A misdemeanor.
She was arrested and booked at 10:43 p.m. into Jay County Jail, where she remains under a $4,500 bond.
