Imels celebrate 65th
Carl and Donna Imel, 512 E. North St., Portland, are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Pennville Community Building at Pennville Park.
Carl married Donna Brunner on April 22, 1950, in Portland.
Carl retired from Portland Forge in 1991 and Donna worked at Jay Garment Company.
They are the parents of Richard Imel (wife: Ruby), Pennville, Donna Imel, Rosemary Armantrout (husband: Bill), Bill Imel (wife: Lisa) and Betty Imel, all of Portland. They also have 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Lunch will be at noon Saturday and a reception will be from 1 to 4 p.m. The couple asks that gifts be omitted.
