Ashmans celebrate 50th
Carl and Linda Ashman, 1258 Deerhaven Drive, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today.
Carl married Linda Ingle on April 30, 1965, at West Walnut Church of Christ in Portland.
Linda retired as a secretary at Jay County High School and works as a parent aid at the Youth Service Bureau in Portland, and Carl retired from International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
They are the parents of Michael Ashman, Decatur, and Marsi Dow (husband: Cory), Portland. They have nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A reception with family and friends will be held Friday.
