Intersection accident
Two drivers were involved in an accident Friday at the intersection of county road 600 South and Indiana 67.
Garrett A. Rodgers, 15, 5699 S. 125 West, drove west on county road 600 South, stopped at its intersection with Indiana 67 and then pulled out without seeing a southbound vehicle.
The 2001 Nissan Pathfinder Rodgers was driving struck the front of a 2012 Chevrolet driven by Jason A. Johnson, 42, 13555 Dorster St., Fishers.
The Pathfinder is registered to Richard A. Rodgers, same address.
Damage in the 6:30 p.m. accident was estimated between $1,000 and $2,500.

Officer needed
Geneva Town Council recommended at its Tuesday meeting that Geneva’s Safety Board hire an officer for no more than 90 days to help cover two empty positions.
One full-time officer is recovering from an injury, and another officer will head to South Adams Schools as a resource officer starting Tuesday.
The temporary officer must be at least a reserve officer and will be paid $14 per hour.
