CELINA, Ohio — The Indians got an idea Wednesday of how they stack up against conference opponents.
The Fort Recovery High School girls golf team finished second in the Mercer County Ladies Invitational at Mercer County Elks Golf Club.
The St. Henry Redskins won the four-team tournament with a total of 391. Fort Recovery had a 424 for second, and the Marion Local Flyers were third with 459.
Coldwater was fourth, totaling 530.
Trisha Thien was the lone Tribe golfer to score in double digits, leading the way for the Indians with a 99. Tori Vaughn was close behind with a 103, and Emily Bruns and Elli Keller both had matching scores of 111 to complete Fort Recovery’s team total.
Cori Stone and Sophie Timmerman also competed, shooting rounds of 112 and 179 respectively.
St. Henry’s Haleigh Staugler shot a 91 to earn match medalist honors.
