Leroy and Doris Rutschilling, of 1323 S. 500 East, Portland, and 331 Western Ave., St. Henry, Ohio, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday.
A Mass of Celebration will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at St. Henry Catholic Church and an open house will be from 2 to 5 p.m. at St. Henry American Legion.
Leroy married Doris Hoelscher on Aug. 30, 1955, at Holy Rosary Church in St. Marys, Ohio.
Doris retired as an office manager/county treasurer and Leroy retired as a forestry consultant and sawmill owner.
They are the parents of Jim Rutschilling (wife: Phyllis), Sue Nietfeld (husband: Ralph), Joe Rutschilling (wife: Ginny), Rose Lefeld (husband: Jim), Sharon Muhlenkamp (husband: Eric), and Kathy Schwieterman (husband: Jeff), all of St. Henry.
They also have 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The couple enjoy spending time at their retirement farm in Indiana, relaxing and enjoying nature.
