Challenge Cup tickets are on sale

Tickets are now available for the 2016 Kentucky-Indiana Challenge Cup.
Fans may purchase tickets in the Jay County High School athletics office during regular school hours.
They will also be available during home basketball games on the balcony of the JCHS gym. The cost is $10.
Jay County’s boys basketball team will play Cooper High School at 4 p.m. Saturday at Frankfort Convention Center in Frankfort, Kentucky.
The Kentucky-Indiana Challenge Cup is a five-game showcase with four boys teams and one girls team from Indiana playing against schools from Kentucky. The first game of the day is slated for 10 a.m., with each game scheduled roughly every three hours.

Two earn all-Ohio
A pair of Fort Recovery High School football players were named to the All-Ohio team on Wednesday.
Adam LeFevre earned second-team honors as a defensive lineman. The senior set a school record with 17.5 sacks, and is fourth on the team with 68 total tackles. His 23.5 tackles for loss is tops on the squad.
Senior Wes Wenning was given special mention as a wide receiver. He has 66 catches for 1,022 yards and eight touchdowns. In the Division VII Region 26 semifinal against Sidney Lehman Catholic, Wenning set three school records. He became the all-time leader in touchdown catches (17), receiving yards in a season and receiving yards in a career (1,769). He also holds the record for catches in a season (66) and career receptions (112).
Fort Recovery plays the Mogadore Wildcats in the Division VII state championship at p.m. Friday (see story page 12).
