Felony arrests
Methamphetamine lab bust
A Portland man was arrested about 3 p.m. Sunday in Adams County for several charges related to methamphetamine.
Drug Task Force on Sunday served a search warrant for Jeff Roberts, 4850 N. U.S. 27, Portland, for a methamphetamine lab and dealing methamphetamine.
At the home, Drug Task Force allegedly found a methamphetamine lab with chemical agents and precursors, but Roberts was not found at the home.
Drug Task Force located him in Adams County, and Adams County Sheriff’s Department received a search warrant to examine his vehicle and allegedly found methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
Roberts was arrested and is being held in Adams County.
His charges in Jay County are for possessing paraphernalia, dealing methamphetamine, a Level 5 felony, and maintaining a common nuisance, a Level 6 felony.
Charges in Adams County are possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, and possessing paraphernalia.
Bench warrants
A Farmland woman was arrested at 10:12 p.m. Sunday on two bench warrants.
Kaitlyn Elizabeth Barger, 25, 8630 W. 500 North, was arrested for violating her parole and fraud, both Level 6 felonies.
She was booked to Jay County Jail and is being held on two bonds: a $10,000 bond for probation violation and a $3,000 bond for fraud.
