FR grad fares well vs. IWU
Collegiate Check-up
The Racers struggled against the top team in the nation. But Jason Pottkotter fared well.
The 2012 Fort Recovery High School graduate finished second in rebounds for the University of Northwestern Ohio men’s basketball team Tuesday in its 98-59 loss to NAIA Division II No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan.
Pottkotter grabbed six rebounds for the Racers (6-9), second only to teammate Ray Beatty.
He also had eight points and two assists.
The senior has started half of the 14 games he has played in this year and is averaging 5.4 points and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field.
Kegan Comer
Jay County – 2013
Helped the NAIA Division II No. 17 University of St. Francis men’s basketball team to an 86-75 win Wednesday over Concordia.
Comer finished with seven points as the Cougars improved to 12-3. He also had two assists, two rebounds and a steal.
Kylie Kahlig
Fort Recovery – 2012
Played for the University of Northwestern Ohio women’s basketball team in its 64-60 loss Tuesday to Bethel.
Kahlig finished with three points for the Racers, who slipped to 7-7. She also had three rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal.
