A Portland woman reported a rape Thursday to Portland Police Department.
The 38-year-old told officers that an acquaintance had been raping her for months in Portland, spanning from November to January.
Portland police are investigating the allegation, which was reported at 5:13 p.m.
Thursday theft
A Wal-Mart employee reported a theft Thursday evening to Portland Police Department.
The employee told officers a girl walked out of the store without paying for about 10 DVDs. The employee kept her at the store until officers could arrive.
Officers arrested Korie Wimmer, 27, 311 E. Votaw Street, Portland, and preliminarily charged her with theft, a Class A misdemeanor. She was booked into Jay County Jail at 8:09 p.m., where she remains on a $1,000 bond.
