He will be responsible for zoning administration along with performing building and zoning inspections for the county and the city of Portland.

The course covers the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and issues such as fire and electrical safety, machine guarding, hazard communication, and safety and health programs.
The class will meet Thursday, March 26, and Friday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at John Jay Center, 101 S. Meridian St., Portland.
The cost of the class is $255. For registration information, contact Carolyn Carducci at John Jay Center for Learning at (260) 729-5525, extension 223, or email her at [email protected].
Deadline for registration is March 19.
