Mark D. Davis,37, Dunkirk, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, a Class A misdemeanor and possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced  to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 30 days suspended and six days credit given for three days served. He was fined $10 and assessed court costs of $168.50. He was ordered to pay a $200 alcohol and drug countermeasures fee and a $400 substance abuse program fee. He was placed on probation for one year. The court recommended the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles suspend his driver’s license for 90 days. As part of a plea agreement a charge of possession of a narcotic drug was dismissed.
Ryan P. Harrison, 23, Portland, domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor as an inclucded charge in domestic battery, a Level 6 felony — Sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 12 days suspended and two days credit for one day served.
The remaining 10 days are to be served on weekends beginning March 6. He was assessed court costs of $168 and placed on probation for 11 months. As part of a plea agreement, a charge of criminal confinement was dismissed.
Derick A. Lee, 28, Portland, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class C misdemeanor — Sentenced to 60 days in jail with all but two days suspended and given two days credit for one day already served. He was fined $100 and assessed court costs of $168. He was ordered to pay a $200 alcohol and drug countermeasures fee and a $400 substance abuse program fee. He was placed on probation for six months, and the court recommended the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles suspend his driver’s license for 90 days. As part of a plea agreement, charges of operating a vehicle with more than .8 percent alcohol were dismissed.
Kile S. Miller, 48, Redkey, operating a vehicle while intoxicated — Sentenced to jail for 60 days with all but 30 days suspended. He was given two days credit for one day served. He is to serve the remaining 28 days of his sentence on monitored home detention.
He was fined $100 and assessed court costs of $168.50. He was ordered to pay a $200 alcohol and drug countermeasures fee and a $400 substance abuse program fee. He was also placed on probation for six months. As part of a plea agreement, a charge of operating with more than .8 percent blood alcohol content was dismissed.
Myriah R. Boice, 21, Portland, theft, a Class A misdemeanor — Sentenced to one year in Jay County Jail with all but 30 days suspended. She was given two days credit for one day served. She is to serve the remaining 28 days of her sentence on monitored home detention. She was assessed court costs of $168 and placed on probation for 11 months.
