Local notes
Swim team seeks coaches
The Jay County Summer Swim Team is seeking coaches for the 2015 swim season.
Interested applicants are requested to send a resume and letter of interest to Andrea Oswalt at [email protected].
Applications can also be mailed to Oswalt at 208 Meridian Hts, Portland, IN 47371.
The deadline to apply is Jan. 31.

JCC to hold tournaments
The Jay Community Center will hold its Cabin Fever Triple Crown tournaments beginning Jan. 25.
The Wiffle Ball tournament is set for Sunday, a kick ball tournament is Feb. 8 and the dodgeball tournament will be March 31.
All tournaments will begin at 1 p.m.
Cost is $60 per team for one event, $90 for two and $120 for three.

Community swim open
The community swim schedule for the 2014-15 school season is underway.
Each swim will be Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. at Jay County High School and is open to the public.
Cost is $2 per swimmer, and children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
