Chownings to celebrate 50th anniversary
Jack and Connie Chowning, 1928 Manuels Drive, Portland, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday with an open house from 2 to 5:30 p.m. at their home.
Jack married Connie Green on July 4, 1965. She is a housewife and Jack retired from 3M Manufacturing after more than 46 years of service.
They are the parents of William “Bill” Chowning, Brad Chowning and Chad Chowning, all of Portland. They also have eight grandchildren.
