JCHS to host adult swim
There will be adult lap swim sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Cost is $2 per session or $25 for a season pass, and is open to adults 18-and-older.
The swim will be from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. at the Jay County High School pool.
The sessions will go through July, and will be for lap swim only, not recreational use.
Athletic clinic starts Monday
A speed, agility and quickness clinic will be held every Tuesday and Thursday beginning Monday through Aug. 6.
The clinic will be from 11 a.m. to noon at Jay Community Center, and it will focus on improved athletic performance, core strength and stability, hip and mobility function and injury prevention.
Members from Schmit Chiropractic, Patriot Fitness and Jay County Hospital will present the clinic.

East Jay Middle School’s cross country team will have optional practices beginning Monday.
Practices will be from 8 to 9 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Hudson Family Park.

The Jay County High School football team will be hosting a camp July 20 through 23.
The camp will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and is open for children in kindergarten through eighth grade.

The Adams County Run/Walk Challenge continues July 25.
The next race is the 42nd annual Swiss Days Race. The race will begin at 8:15 a.m. July 25 on Jefferson Street in Berne.
