NCGLNAC to host classes
Taking Note
The National Center for Great Lakes Native American Culture will host summer cultural arts classes in August.
Classes will begin Saturday, Aug. 1, and continue through Tuesday, Aug. 4 at the Women’s Building at Jay County Fairgrounds.

40th anniversary
An open house, in honor of Bob and Sharon Brown’s 40th wedding anniversary, will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the community room at Canterbury Apartments in Portland.
The couple requests that gifts be omitted.
Concert
The free Summer Concert Series continues Saturday at Dunkirk Webster-Depot Park.
Boot Hill Band will play classic and southern rock and country at 7 p.m. with the West Jay Optimist Club hosting.
Craft class
Arts Place Blackford County Arts Center in Hartford City will have a Make-It and Take-It activity for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.
The class will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8.

Rachel Jutte, Fort Recovery, was named to the spring dean’s list in the School of Education & Health Sciences at the University of Dayton. Ohio.
