Deputy hired
A new deputy was hired Monday at a Redkey Town Council special meeting.
Ryan Miskinis, Redkey, was chosen after council interviewed two applicants for the job.
The position became vacant when former deputy Keith Gardner took a position at Jay County Sheriff’s Office.
Miskinis has an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Ivy Tech and has served as a reserve officer for JCSO.
