Hartzells lead Barnett's to win

Jasper and Cavan Hartzell combined for nine of their team’s 25 hits on Tuesday.
They helped Barnett’s Auto Parts to a 11-7 victory against Pioneer Packaging in Portland Junior League’s Rookie baseball league.
Cavan Hartzell give singles and added two RBIs, and Jasper Hartzell tallied four singles, one RBI and scored twice. Landon Garringer chipped in with two doubles and a single, He also scored two times and had an RBI.
Sylas Wenk contributed two singles, three runs and an RBI.
Rhysin Blowers was a triple shy of the cycle to pace the Pioneer offense. He also scored three times and had an RBI. Jayden Comer and Xaiven Maxwell both had a double, a single and two RBIs. Dominick Bright added three singles, and Carson Busick chipped in with two hits.

Ponderosa tops All-Circuit
The Ponderosa Steakhouse defense limited All-Circuit Electrical to just two runs in a 9-2 victory Tuesday in PJL’s Rookie baseball league.
Griffin Byrum had three singles and a triple to lead Ponderosa. AJ Myers followed with two doubles and a triple, and Hunter Lawhead contributed a trio of singles and a double.
Isaac Roop chipped in with a double and two singles, and Gavin Tow had two hits.
Ethan Gillum led All-Circuit with a triple and two singles. Will Hawbaker and Wyatt Wendel both had a pair of singles. Nick Laux and Drew Schemenaur had a single apiece.

Minnich victorious
Minnich Architecture and Construction defeated MainSource Bank 5-3 on Tuesday in PJL’s Willie Mays action.
Dusty Pearson hit a two-run single to drive in the winning runs for Minnich.
Trenton Webster tallied the only hit — a triple — for MainSource.
Both teams only managed one hit.
Pearson pitched Minnich to victory, and Crosby Heniser struck out the side in the final inning to record the save.
