Smiths celebrate 50 years
Samuel and Josephine Smith, 315 S.W. 8th St., Portland, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday.
Samuel married Josephine Castillo on June 14, 1975, in Fort Recovery.
Josephine is employed at Jay School Corporation and Samuel works for the City of Portland.
They are the parents of Betty Sears (husband: Robert), Dunkirk, Lucas Smith, Bloomington, Zebulon Smith and Tashina Smith, both of Portland. They also have four grandchildren.
The couple celebrated with family and friends on May 30 at Banner Christian Assembly of God.
