Wiggins scores seven in win

Teams in Pennville Soccer League’s Stinger division are having a difficult time stopping Samuel Wiggins.
Wiggins scored seven goals on Saturday, helping A.B.’s Tire Service Hornets to a 13-2 victory Saturday against Nate’s Kustom Painting and Auto Body Repair Bees.
Raif and Tony Beiswanger each netted hat tricks for the Hornets, and Chayson Brown scored both goals for the Bees.
Wiggins is now the highest-scoring player in the league, with a total of 17 goals.
Lions split
In the Wildcat division, A.B.’s Tire Service Lions split a pair of games, losing to the Adair Processing Jaguars 4-2 before rolling over the Hanlin Real Estate Tigers.
Kyler Witt totaled four goals for the Lions, who also got three goals from Juan Pablo Wiggins. Cadance Cooper found the back of the net twice, and Katlin Schoenlein scored once.
Brendon Runyon netted a hat trick and Sheldon Minch scored once for the Jaguars. Madison Springer had the lone goal for the Tigers.
Asteroids perfect
The Patriot Sportswear Asteroids remained perfect in the Space division. They knocked off Hanlin Real Estate Galaxy 3-1 before playing to a 3-3 tie against Nate’s Kustom Painting & Auto Body Repair Comets.
Jaylen McClain scored all three goals against the Galaxy, who got their lone score from Gabe Pinkerton.
In the second game, Griffin Elliot, Mason Hunt and McClain all had goals. Jacob Wallace scored twice and Mareli Ambrosio had another for the Comets.
Minnich sweeps
Minnich Architecture & Construction picked up a doubleheader sweep of PG-14 on Saturday in Portland Junior League’s Willie Mays division.
Isaac Kunkler, Zac McAbee and Crosby Heniser paced Minnich with two hits apiece in a 12-8 victory in game one. Dusty Pearson had a single and a double in the second game, helping Minnich to a 13-7 victory.
Mitchell Trobridge, Timo Minnich and Kaleb Elam all had hits for Minnich.
Allen Dues and Adam Dixon each had a pair of singles in game one for PG-14. Tyler Manor added a single and Mickey Waters hit a double.
Dixon had two singles in the second game, with Kameron Miller adding a double and Ryler Johnson hitting a single.
Pioneer wins
Ponderosa is no longer perfect.
Pioneer Packaging handed Ponderosa Steakhouse its first lost of the season on Saturday with a 13-4 victory in PJL’s Rookie baseball.
Dominick Bright, Maddox Huffman, Landon Blowers, Rhysin Blowers and Jayden Comer were all 3-for-3 in leading Pioneer. Carson Busick and Max Dues both added two singes.
AJ Myers led Ponderosa with a three-run home run. Griffin Byrum and Hunter Lawhead also added three hits each.
