Reitz celebrating 50 years of marriage
Allen and Nancy Reitz, 1127 Wayside Place, Portland, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today. They will have an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at John Jay Center for Learning in Portland.
Allen married Nancy Pyle on June 26, 1965, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portland.
Nancy is a beautician at CrownPointe Communities in Portland and Allen retired as project coordinator for Indiana Gas Company.
They are the parents of Lee Reitz (wife: Sylvia), Dallas, Andrew Reitz (wife: Jennifer), Dayton, Ohio, and Joseph Reitz (wife: Josie), Meherrin, Virginia.
The couple requests that gifts be omitted.
