The Rev. William and Jackie Smith, 1414 W. 200 South, Portland, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today.
William married Jacqueline A. Balle on March 14, 1975, at Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland.
Mr. Smith is pastor of New Beginnings Holiness Church.
The couple are the parents of Mandi Glassford (husband: Nathan) Portland, Charity Rodgers (husband: Robbie), McCordsville, and Makayla Smith, Portland. They also have three grandchildren.
