Jay Schools kindergarten roundups set

The Jay School Corporation will have kindergarten roundup at area elementary schools in March and April to pre-register students. Students and parents are to attend the sessions that will begin at 8:30 a.m. and last two hours. Students must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2015 to pre-register.
Redkey Elementary and General Shanks Elementary will be held Tuesday, March 31; Pennville, Westlawn and Bloomfield elementary will be on April 1; and Judge Haynes and East Elementary will be on April 2.
Parents should bring the child’s birth certificate and immunization records. For more information, call (260) 726-9341. 

Library events
Mother Goose and Me will meet at 10 a.m. Friday in the Community Room at Jay County Public Library for infants and preschoolers. There will be music, rhymes, movement and active participation. 
Spring break activities will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, March 27, in the children’s area at JCPL.
Monday will be What can you make with an old CD/DVD?; Tuesday is Lego Day; Wednesday will be Puppet-mania; Thursday is Puzzle It Out; and Friday will be a Build-A-Thon.
