Local notes
Baseball tryout set
Tryouts have been set for a middle school baseball team.
The tryout sessions will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. March 29 at Jay County High School.
Any middle school student is encouraged to try out, and a bat, glove and tennis or turf shoes will be required.

Community swim canceled 
There will be no community swim on Sunday at Jay County High School as the Jay School Corporation will be closed for spring break.

Starfires seeking coach
South Adams High School is seeking a wrestling coach for the 2015-16 season.
Candidates should have varsity coaching experience, a strong knowledge of wrestling techniques and fundamentals. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to work with the administration and successfully lead student athletes, the coaching staff and the middle school and youth programs.
