David A. Stouder, 57, Fort Recovery, entered a plea of no contest in Celina Municipal Court to a charge of having an expired license. He was fined $50 and assessed court costs.
In the same court, Nathan D.J. Frederick, 24, Fort Recovery, pleaded no contest to an amended charge of disorderly conduct. He was fined $50 and assessed court costs. The original charge was possession of a controlled substance.
Semi hits deer
A Minnesota man driving a semi hit a deer about 2:05 a.m. today.
James Lowe, 52, 644 Thomas Ave., St. Paul, Minnesota, was northbound on U.S. 27 when a deer ran into the road near county road 600 North. His 2000 Freightliner Conventional F struck the deer, causing damage to the front bumper of the vehicle.
Damage was estimated to be between $1,000 and $2,500.
