The 100-meter dash record at West Jay Middle School stood for nearly two decades.
Kensey Litton had already broken it three times this season.
She did it for a fourth time on Saturday.
Litton finished second with a time of 13.1 seconds, breaking her previous mark of 13.24. She helped the West Jay girls track team to a first-place finish Saturday in the East Jay Relays at Jay County High School.
Litton finished one-tenth of a second ahead of teammate Calli Stigleman.
The Eagles scored 84 points for first. South Adams was second with 63 points, and East Jay finished third with 58.
R.J. Baskett (Gas City) won the boys’ competition with 108.5 points. Bluffton was second with 95 points and East Jay placed third with 53 points. West Jay (46) and South Adams (40.5) were fourth and fifth respectively.
Kendal Garringer, Molly Ault and Noah Harris each earned individual victories for West Jay. Garringer cleared 4 feet, 8 inches, to win high jump, and Ault was victorious in shot put with a distance of 27 feet, 1 inch.
Harris won the 110-meter hurdles in 17.4 seconds.
Ethan Huntsman won discus for East Jay with his throw of 97 feet, 1 inch, and Kendra Muhlenkamp won the long jump with a distance of 12 feet, 11 inches.

Jay girls win Argyll Relays
FAIRMOUNT — The Jay County High School girls track team picked up four race victories on Friday, claiming the championship of the Argyll Relays at Madison-Grant.
Jay County scored 113.5 points, edging runner-up Lapel by two points. Eastbrook was third with 70 points.
The Patriot boys squad finished eighth with 37 points. Eastbrook won with 117 points, Mississinewa was second with 68 and Alexandria scored 65 points for third.
Briana Muhlenkamp and sisters Ava and Erika Kunkler had their part in three of the four victories for the Patriot girls.
They joined Lexi Myers to win the 4x400-meter relay in 4 minutes, 21.1 seconds. They teamed with Megan Wellman to win both the 4x800 relay (10:54) and the distance medley relay (13:47).
Jay County got its other victory in the sprint medley behind the legs of Kelsey Burden, sisters Lucy and Emma Laux, and Myers with a time of 1:55.28.
The Patriot boys’ shuttle hurdle relay team of Aaron Neal, Alec Lewis, Devonte Crouse and Alec Burchum finished second. And Neal was third in the long jump.

Star records fall
BERNE — The Starfire girls continue to break school marks.
Three records fell and another was tied on Friday as the South Adams girls track team won the invitational it hosted.
The Starfires scored 125 points, more than doubling runner-up Woodlan (62). Seton Catholic was third with 53 points.
South Adams’ boys placed second with 87 points. Bluffton won with 118 points and Woodlan was third with 66.
Caroline Kloepper and Olivia Von Gunten set new individual records. Kloepper broke the 400-meter dash record, winning the race with a time of 59.95 seconds, and Von Gunten’s runner-up finish in the 800 (2 minutes, 24.75 seconds) was also a new record.
Hannah Imel, Addie Wanner, Kloepper and Von Gunten teamed to set a new school mark in the 4x400 relay with their time of 4:16.36.
Wanner tied the school high jump record of 5 feet, 2 inches, in back-to-back meets.
Drew LeFever earned the only victory for the SAHS boys, winning the shot put with a distance of 50 feet, 11 inches.
