FORT RECOVERY — The Indians weren’t able to score in a 2-0 defeat earlier this season to the Redskins.
Tuesday, the Fort Recovery baseball team scored twice in the fourth inning, but a late run by St. Henry handed the Indians a 3-2 loss.
St. Henry, which is ranked seventh in Division III, scored a run in the first inning and added another in the fourth four a 2-0 lead. Fort Recovery (21-5) answered with two runs in the bottom of the frame on a bases-loaded walk by Cole Wendel and a groundout by Mitch Stammen.
Mitchell Dorner of St. Henry hit an RBI single in the top of the sixth for the eventual game-winning run.

Ben Will and Wendel each had singles, and Kyle Schorer added a double as the Division IV No. 3 Indians managed only three hits off St. Henry starter Josh Osterholt.
Cade Wendel took the loss, giving up two earned runs on five hits. He struck out two and walked one in four innings of work.
Chase Bruns pitched in relief, allowing one earned run on one hit. He surrendered two walks and had a pair of strikeouts.
Fort Recovery takes on Midwest Athletic Conference foe Marion Local at 7 p.m. tonight in the second of two district semifinal games at Coldwater.
