Paul and Phyllis Schoenlein celebrate 50 years

Paul and Phyllis Schoenlein, 2377 W. 50 North, Portland, have been married 50 years today. They will celebrate their anniversary with a Mass at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church in Portland with the Rev. Robert Moran officiating.
Paul married Phyllis (Seibert) on Nov. 6, 1965, at Holy Trinty Catholic Church, Coldwater, Ohio.
She was a housewife and Paul retired as a farmer.
The couple are the parents of Carol Vagedes (husband: Frank), Coldwater, Pam Lennartz (husband: Mike), Jim Schoenlein (wife: Kristen), and Lori Bantz, all of Portland. They also have 12 grandchildren.
