Jay School Board learned at its meeting Monday that the number of students in Jay School Corporation earning college credit and the number of courses taken has continued to increase.
Jeremy Gulley, director of teacher effectiveness, told the board that 144 seniors from the class of 2015 earned college credit. There were a total of 1,029 enrollments in dual credit courses last school year, up from 311 in 2013-14.
The board also approved the calendar for the 2016-17 school year and OK’d a list of new courses.
