Author to speak in Fort Recovery

Author William Heath will speak at 3 p.m. Saturday at Fort Recovery State Museum.
Heath will discuss William Wells, who was born in 1770 to Anglo-American parents on the Appalachian frontier and was captured by the Miami Indians at age 13.
Heath is the author of “William Wells and the Struggle for the Old Northwest,” “Blacksnack’s Path: The True Adventures of William Wells,” and “The Children Bob Moses Led,” and is a retired professor.
