Capsule Reports
An Ohio court has denied a claim by a former Fort Recovery teacher that he had ineffective counsel.
Christopher Summers, 35, is serving a 21-year prison sentence for sexually assaulting a student when he was a teacher and coach.
He was originally charged with 47 counts, including rape and sexual battery. Under a plea agreement, he entered a plea of guilty to eight counts of sexual battery, all third degree felonies.
