Activities coming up at JCPL

Jay County Public Library is bustling with activity this fall. Check out what’s happening.
SNA Live sessions, for special needs adults and others, will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday for Music and Movement. Arts and Crafts will meet at 10 a.m. on Oct. 22 to decorate pumpkins.
A Google Drive & Docs class will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.  If you don’t have the app, know your app store login. Register, by calling the library at (260) 726-7890.
Anyone wanting to create or update a resume is invited to a resume workshop to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday  at Jay County Public Library.
Bring notes about education and work experience and learn basic tips and formats for writing a resume. Finished ones may be reviewed and printed. Also bring current resumes to be updated.
The Cookbook Club will meet at 6:15 p.m. Monday. Bring anything orange.
JayCPL Book Club will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19. The book “The World’s Strongest Librarian” by Josh Hanagame will be discussed.
JayCPL Writers Guild will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26. Jack Ronald will talk about journalistic writing.
Hook & Needles Club will meet from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Bring supplies and share ideas.
Lego Club will meet between 2:30 and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 20 and 27 and an all day Lego event will be held on Friday, Oct. 23.

Dress class
A class on “How to dress and flatter your changing body” will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Mercer Health Weight Management Center, 830 W. Main St. in Coldwater, Ohio. Ashley Lefeld will be the guest speaker. For more information, call (419) 678-8446.
