Felony arrests
OWI arrest
A Union City man was arrested at 1:57 a.m. Saturday for operating while intoxicated.
Jeremy Michael Jones, 33, 835 N. Howard St., was arrested for OWI, a Level 6 felony.
He has since been released from Jay County Jail on a $3,000 bond.
Bench warrant
A Portland man was arrested on a bench warrant at 5:05 p.m. Sunday.
Adam D. Freeman, 35, 315 ½ E. Walnut St. was arrested on a bench warrant for violating his probation. In August, Freeman was arrested for escape, or a house arrest violation, which is a Level 6 felony.
He was being held in Allen County before he was transferred to Jay County Jail.
He is being held without a bond.
