Haunted trail to be held in rural Geneva

A “Night of the Limberlost Haunted Trail” will be held at the covered bridge on county road 950 South in rural Geneva.
The event will take place from 7:30 p.m. to midnight on Oct. 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31.
There will also be games for youth. Proceeds will benefit the Geneva Reserve Police Department.
A chili supper will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 24 and the Geneva Fire Department and a Halloween parade will begin at 7 p.m.
Geneva’s Haunted Downtown will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 29. Merchants will give treats to children in costumes.  

Library events
Story times at Jay County Public Library continue at 9:30  a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20 and 27, and 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22 and 29.
Mother Goose & Me will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30.
Teens can decorate pumpkins from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and everyone is welcome to bring their own pumpkin and decorate from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22.
Make DIY crafts between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, for Halloween.
