Legend or precursor
A woman was arrested this morning for possession or use of a legend or precursor, as well as misdemeanor charges.
Angel Dawn Gannon, 26, was arrested for the Level 6 possession charge in addition to possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor, and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor.
She was booked into Jay County Jail at 2 a.m. and is being held on a $4,500 bond.
Warrant arrest
A prison inmate was picked up on a warrant at 6:01 p.m. Thursday in Plainfield.
Richard B. Moghadam, 38, an inmate at Plainfield Correctional Facility, 727 Moon Road, Plainfield, was picked up by Jay County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant for home improvement fraud and theft, a Level 6 felony.
He is being held on a $10,000 bond at Jay County Jail.
Syringe arrests
Two Dunkirk residents were arrested today for possessing syringes.
Caz Marie Lawhorn, 21, 511 S. Layne Drive, was arrested at 12:19 a.m. today for possessing a syringe, a Level 6 felony.
At another location, Jonathan L. Staton, 37, 126 S. Third St., was arrested at 12:21 a.m. today for the same charge.
They are both being held at Jay County Jail on $3,000 bond.
