Come in costume to JCPL
Taking Note
Kids of all ages are invited to a Halloween Special at 6:30 p.m. today at Jay County Public Library, 315 N. Ship St. in Portland.
Come in costume and listen to scary stories, do fun activities and enjoy some treats.
Kids will also get a chance to vote this November — for their favorite book.
Voting begins Monday and will continue through Nov. 7 at JCPL.
A random drawing will be done from all the votes and the winner will receive a free book of their choice.
Books recently donated to the library in memory of Michelle Bruggeman by Tammy Lyons and family were “Travels with Casey” “Rough Guide to Thailand.”
Given in memory of Mary Ninde by Dan and Sharon Hoffman were “Life on the Farm” and “A Visit to the Library.”
