Students of month named

West Jay Middle School named its Students of the Month for October.
In sixth grade was Quinn Faulkner,   the son of John and Holly Faulkner.
In seventh grade was Hunter Shumaker, the son of Rebecca Shumaker and Tyler Hatzell.
In eighth grade was Ethan Andreshak, the son of Michael and Kerri Andreshak.

Limberlost program
Limberlost State Historic Site in Geneva will host “Marsh after Dark” from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Loblolly Marsh Nature Preserve.
The evening will include a short hike, exploring mystery boxes, an animal presentation and the Firelight Theater Variety Show.
There  will be hot chocolate, s’mores and toasted marshmallows.
Bring a flashlight. The event will be held regardless of the weather. The cost is  $3 for children and $4 for adults.
The Loblolly Marsh parking lot is located at 8323 N. 250 West, one half mile north of Indiana 18.

4-H enrollment
Jay County 4-H enrollment begins Sunday and can be done at https://in.4Honline.com or at www.extension.purdue.edu/jay.
Enrollment will also be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6 at Jay County Public Library.
