Votas celebrating 65th anniversary
Wendell and Patty Votaw, 190 E. Harrison St., Pennville, are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary today.
Wendell married Patty Stultz on Sept. 16, 1950, at the home of her parents, Charles and Fern Stultz.
Patty retired as the librarian from Pennville Public Library and Wendell retired from the Soil Conservation Service in Jay County.
They are the parents of Sharon Ross, Pennville, Glenda Majcher (husband: Joseph), Mechanicsville, Virginia, and Stanley Votaw (wife: Diane), Fort Wayne.
They also have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate with a family dinner.
