Painting class to be held
Taking Note
A Coffee and Canvas painting class will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Jay County Public Library.
Tisha Gierhart of Tribal Paint Canvas & Laugh will instruct participants how to create a floral painting. The cost is $20 and supplies are provided. For more information, call Cheryl Lucas at (260) 726-7890.
Swiss activities
A healthy cooking class will be taught at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Arthur &?Gloria Muselman Wellness Pavilion at Swiss Village Retirement Community in Berne for those 55 and older.
Chef Eric Emerson will create a dish from ingredients given to him in a brown bag.

Applications for the Summer Junior Volunteer Program at Swiss Village are being accepted for students 10 and older.
